Why Verde is Green
There are many different shades of green. The Verde green might be a completely different shade than yours, but you have to start somewhere! We have our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), as well as our “Buy Local” and “Community Service” policies in place. These are important to us as a green fulfillment company and as individuals. We’re more than happy to share what we’re doing, how we did it and where we’re going in the future.

1. The only paper produced in the office is packing slips, and it’s on recycled paper
2. Electronic order transfers internally and externally, no paper
3. Electronic billing, no paper
4. Use only recycled or biodegradable packing materials
5. Use only new recycled boxes
6. Purchase wind power through Idaho Power Green Power Program
7. Maximize use of green freight companies
8. Use only recycled office furniture
9. Use of non-toxic glues in boxes and water-based recycled tape for box closure
10. Buy all office/packing supplies locally
11. Green-powered electric forklifts
12. Goal: Become a "green" example to other Boise area and industry businesses
